Launched: Village of Hamburg Compost Program
Composting transforms organic waste into a nutrient-rich soil amendment that benefits both people and the planet. It helps reduce landfill emissions, improves soil health and water retention, and can even suppress plant diseases, cutting down the need for chemical fertilizers.
The compost collected will directly support the growth of native trees and flowers planted right here in our community!
Interested in joining? Email us to get started. We’ll drop off a bucket for you.
Pickups are every Thursday after 12 PM starting on 4/23/2026.
